The JellyTelly app keeps crashing on my phone/tablet. What should I do?

Why apps crash:

  • You’re logged into your JellyTelly account another device
  • Incompatible software issues
  • Issues with code in the app
  • Unstable network connection
  • Not enough memory  

Troubleshooting steps.

Test the app in between each step to see if it resolves the issue.

** Make sure you are logged out of all other devices when using the JellyTelly app. Since we don’t support multi-device login at this time to avoid being logged out.

 

iOS App

  1. Make sure you are logged out of JellyTelly on all Devices
  2. Quit and relaunch the app (double click home, select JellyTelly app and swipe up, then re-open the app)
  3. Reboot device (hold home button and power button at the same time until the Apple icon appears)
  4. Make sure your iOS and app are up-to-date
  5. Delete and reinstall the JellyTelly app
  6. Clear memory (don’t run multiple apps in the background, if storage space is nearly full clear space)

 

Android app

  1. Make sure you are logged out of JellyTelly on all Devices
  2. Quit and relaunch the app
  3. Restart your device (press and hold the Power button. When the menu appears, tap Restart)
  4. Make sure your software and app are up-to-date
  5. Delete and reinstall the app
  6. Clear cache
    1. Go to Settings
    2. Tap on Apps (App Manager, Manage apps, depending on the Android device)
    3. Find the app that keeps crashing or freezing and tap on it
    4. Next, tap Clear cache
    5. Tap Force stop
    6. Go back to the Home screen and launch the app again.
  7. Clear space (close out apps running in the background, free up space on the device if full or near full)
